CCshared

Federated population health data: intelligent identification of shared factors in Cancer and Cardiovascular diseases to improve prevention and disease management across the lifespan (CCshared)

CCshared is a coordinated project that aims to digitally transform clinical data types and establish a federated global learning model to study the intersection of cancer and cardiovascular diseases.

Ecological and Digital Transition Project, call 2021

The overarching goal of the project is to use routinely generated health data to develop models to stratify the population for improved prevention and treatment. As cases of use, we will focus on diseases that share etiologic and prognostic risk factors such as cancer and CVD, which will be studied across lifetime, using an integrated analysis of multidimensional data gathered from multiple sources and exploited in a federated global learning model.

Project Aims

A) To develop, and validate shared cardiovascular-cancer risk prediction models.
B) To identify risk factors for cardiotoxicity of cancer drugs.
C) To develop AI-based assistants.
